About Palmetto Transport & Logistics

Palmetto Transport & Logistics, LLC. was was formed in late 2006 after its founder, Bill Carter, observed the need for a professional, medium sized transportation alternative in Central Florida. Having spent most of his career in newspaper marketing and circulation management, Bill worked with enough transportation companies and couriers to realize the deficit in professional, dependable and affordable service. Palmetto Transport & Logistics (PTL) launched in 2006 from Bill's home and quickly expanded to its present day office and warehouse facility in Auburndale, Florida.


PTL offers both dedicated and shared freight options to its clients, complemented with warehousing storage and/or staging. Current clients range from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses, and service is available throughout Florida and South/Central Georgia.

 


Our Staff

Without a doubt, Palmetto's drivers are the company's biggest asset. It's no secret that our success hinges on your complete satisfaction of our service. While management can help with rates and scheduling, it's the drivers that ultimately provide the service. And we have the best. Our clients appreciate the exceptional rates and flexibility, but it's the personal relationships they often develop with the drivers that sets us apart. Our hiring policy of "No Mean People Allowed" gets quite a few chuckles, but it's true. If employees can't smile and enjoy interacting with people, then Palmetto isn't the company for your! Of course, we also demand a drug-free environment and excellent driving record, but the package isn't complete without a positive attitude.
